This handspun yarn is Wool, mohair and Silk in soft lilac/mauves. It is not super wash.
This has been Hand spun on my Ashford Joy Double-Treadle spinning wheel, into this pretty 2 ply yarn. It is soft and squishy and has a lovely sheen to it due to the silk and mohair content. It is roughly 80% Wool and 10% silk and 10% Kid Mohair from rovings that I blended on my carder.
This skein is: Approximately 158 yards & 3.3 ounces (Approx. 144 metres and 92g) There is only one skein.
The thicknesses vary but is is roughly a DK/Worsted weight yarn. It would work well from anywhere between a 4.5mm and 5.5mm needle depending on how you want the end result to be. This yarn is not super-wash, and therefore any item knit/crochet/woven from this yarn should be treated as a delicate wash.
Care Instructions: Wash Gently, Dry Flat
