This gorgeous scarf is handwoven on my Rigid Heddle Loom in my home studio in Nova Scotia, Canada. It is made up entirely of handspun yarns I spun myself.
This scarf measures approximately 6.5" X 84" not including the fringes. There is a maker's tag sewn into one corner of the wrap. The twisted fringes are about 5" long
The warp (lengthwise and fringes) is 100% handspun and hand dyed yarn. The weft (or weave, back and forth) is mostly wool handspun yarns. The yarns are very soft and would be fine for most, next to skin. Gorgeous and a bit rustic. It is definitely a OOAK (One of a Kind) item.
Care Instructions: Wash gently in tepid water and gentle soap, roll gently in towel to absorb the water, then lay flat to dry. Never put this in a washing machine or dryer and do not wring in order to keep it looking beautiful for many years.
