This handspun yarn is 100% Merino Wool in gorgeous pinks with some orange, purple and blue. It is not super wash. I spun this with some of my hand dyed Merino Wool top. It's definitely one of a kind.
This has been Hand spun on my Ashford Joy Double-Treadle spinning wheel, into this pretty 2 ply yarn. It is soft and squishy. It is 100% Merino wool - Wool was hand dyed by me, first, then spun up into this yarn
This skein is: Approximately 595 yards & 5.2 ounces (Approx. 544 metres and 148g) There is only one skein.
The thicknesses vary between a sock weight(Fingering) and sport weight weight yarn, mostly a sock weight. It would work well from anywhere between a 2.5mm and 3.5mm needle or hook depending on how you want the end result to be. Larger needles can work for lace shawls, for example, whatever you wish. This yarn is not super-wash, and therefore any item knit/crochet/woven from this yarn should be treated as a delicate wash.
